'ZLASH' is a new merchandise identity for Penguin that draws inspiration from the term "slashies," which describes individuals, especially Gen Z, who have an interest in exploring multiple careers simultaneously.

Penguin makes books for everyone, offering a wealth of knowledge to readers from all walks of life. For "slashies," reading is an essential tool for improving their ability to learn about multiple interests and careers. ZLASH aims to enhance the reading experience for Gen Z as they may engage with multiple books at the same time. By offering functional, personalized, and inclusive products, ZLASH encourages Gen Z to pursue their many future possibilities through reading.
ZLASH是企鹅图书面向Z世代的子品牌线,包含一系列提高阅读体验的周边产品。ZLASH的灵感来源于斜杠青年(Slashies)——他们同时追求不同的事业与爱好,因此同时阅读不同种类的书籍。因此,我们致力于帮助斜杠青年们更好地进行同时阅读。

企鹅图书的宗旨是「为所有人做书」,百年来坚持为各行各业的读者们提供各种各样的知识。而对于斜杠青年们来说,阅读是他们提升种种职业和兴趣技能的重要渠道。

ZLASH品牌为年轻读者们提供多功能、定制化和包容性的产品,提升他们同时阅读不同书籍时的体验,希望Z世代能通过阅读打开未来的多种可能性。 📖





      As a group member, I paid great effort to this project and came up with the original idea of the ZLASH brand and product.
   Also, I was responsible for the ZLASH bookends, from sketching, 3D modelling to crafting.
We managed to keep our identity simple and recognizable on products.
